Important Note: Meeting was deemed “unofficial” due to number of board members absent. Called to order at 7:20 PM by Sindi Price. (Minutes from previous meeting and financial report not read)
Discussions ensued regarding:
1) Confirmation of the upcoming Clinic dates: January 17,24,31 February 7,21,28 March 7,14,21,28.
2) Potential use of new “Cedar Cliff” field. Rachel will investigate further
3) “Quality Control” survey of players not returning to the league. Attempt to improve individual player experience and participation by understanding individual reasons for leaving the league. Bob Bracco to pursue.
4) Correction to Final Registration Date…should be
Friday December 8th , 7-9 PM @ Smith Clove Elementary School Cafeteria
5) Bob Bracco volunteered for vacant secretary position. (not voted on or sworn in).
6) Additional informal discussions regarding Gym time and other committees. No final decisions made
7) Date for December regular meeting changed to December 17, 2006 @7:00 PM

Meeting was called to order at 7:20 pm Sept 22 Minutes approved. 1st Howard, 2nd Kim
Important Dates: · Registration November 18, MW middle school, small cafeteria · December 8, CVE not available o try another school / last chance flyers / mailing / Photo News & Chronicle / Info channel / mailing for Seniors / Trying to set up online registration for returning players by Nov 15th. · 2006 League Meeting Dates - December 10 · 2007 League Meeting Dates (Tentative) - Jan 21, Feb 11, March 18, April 22, May 20, & June 10 · Picture day confirmed for March 17
Clinics: · Manager clinics sometime in January · Player Clinics set up, sign up online
Equipment: · Coordinators pick up equipment and package for managers
Other: · Draft - Players new to league and 1st year Novice, Junior and Senior players will be rated Jan 4th, Jan 9th and Jan 11th. 6pm - 8pm Smith Clove gym. · Snow date - Jan 14th, 9am - 12 · Rating system to include: Catching, fielding, throwing, hitting and pitching. · Absolutely no parents involved in rating system. · Coordinators gather ratings and turn in to Sindi for draft reports.
Fundraising: · Models (possibly mid December), Pizzaria Unos (March?), McDonalds, etc. Flyers at picture day.

Registration:
· Jackets will be available to order at the first & second registration dates. Pricing will be determined by this year’s cost.
· Orange County Sheriff would like to do fingerprinting for the “Childsafe Program” at registrations. Penny DeMartin will coordinate.
· Cost will be $60 for T-Ball and Instructional $80 for Novice, Junior, and Senior. A $10 Discount will be given to Novice, Junior and Senior registrations if received on or before December 9, 2006
· Manager’s application to be updated and available at registration dates.
· Special Requests will be taken however we will make “No Guarantees” that the request will be honored.
