Hank Werner Memorial Scholarship Fund
This memorial scholarship was created,
in memory of Hank Werner, a beloved friend
and MWGSL Member.
Every year we award a cash scholarship, to at least one graduating
High School Senior that has played in the Monroe-Woodbury Girls' Softball
League!
Hank was a manager and coach and deeply involved in tournament team play
for the league.
He was taken from us in a tragic automobile accident and is missed dearly by all
who knew him.
Fundraising is accomplished through various means.

Each year we award graduating High School Seniors, Scholarships.
For many years money for this fund
has been raised by various means including the
Annual Hank Werner Memorial Golf Tournament.
This year 2007 we will be holding a Spring Fling Dinner Dance at Central Valley
Inn. Last years dance was a huge success. Over $1,100.00 was raised.
